This was a replacement due to unknown problems. I am pleased to have a new replacement. It took a while to contact all necessary manufacturer ,but I finally was able to contact the right person to make the replacement happen. This process also included installation.

THIS OVEN IS IMPOSSIBLE!

I purchased these 2 wall ovens in mid-september. So, far cooking has been ok. However, recently I baked some brownies. They came out gooey and undercooked. Tried cooking them an additional 20 minutes. Same result. Last night I baked a pecan pie. It takes 50-55 minutes to back. I baked it for 1.5 hrs and it came out soupy. Placed a thermometer in the oven and preheated both ovens to 350. The thermometer read 300 for both. Pulled out manual to look up how to recalibrate. No instructions available in the manual or online with Whirlpool for this particular model. The choices on the control board do not include a choice to recalibrate. So, now do I have to pay for a service call when all other modern models DO have a choice to recalibrate??? Another huge issue is that the choice of oven temps are ONLY at 25 degree increments. That is CRAZY. Who engineered this model? The holidays are coming up and I have 2 brand new lousy ovens.

I haven™€™t had my double ovens for even seven months and I™€™ve already had to have both motors and fans replaced in them and now they have to order a new motherboard for one of the stoves because ithe oven door is locked and we can™€™t get it unlocked.

We love our new ovens! We have double wall ovens And the convenience of having two ovens is such a pleasure. The only thing is the way the racks are made, It™€™s very hard to find suitable pans to go in and fit well.. because of the interior rack holders, you lose oven space and then the racks dipped down making it difficult to fit a pan. But with some trial and error, we have found pants that do fit, just not as much of space as we were hoping for. Other than that, it™€™s pleasure to use program and even control by my iPhone!

Menu is cumbersome to use

I hate that I have to start all over in the menu if I decide I need to change the temperature or cooking time. That is really, really inconvenient. I love the side lights. I love the convection. I think the technology needs to be simplified. I hate that I can't smell when something is done. The sounds are nice!

Smart Oven's Still Need Some Tweaking

This is my second oven. The first one stopped working after 6 months. Whirlpool was very cooperative. They said that they couldn't fix it and replaced it in a timely fashion. I am very careful with this oven but it still has some glitches. Nothing major that i haven't been able to work around. I am disappointed that it is slightly smaller inside than the first and I had to get all new baking pans.

Whirlpool wants a review now. Since the oven was installed only two weeks ago, I have barely used it. Requesting a review after two months would make more sense. Because of limited cabinet space, I needed a 24" wide double convection oven to replace a Kitchen Aid oven with similar features, so few options were available. These are my observations to date. I have already requested a service call, because the touchscreen on the upper oven seems somewhat erratic. The oven needs to be calibrated, since preheating the oven to 400 results in a temperature of 350 that eventually rises to 375. The Whirlpool-provided YouTube video on this topic indicates that the owner's manual gives instructions on how to calibrate it, but that is incorrect (one of many gaps in the instructions). The cooling fan comes on (for a very long time) when the oven is turned off, goes off, then comes on again. When it comes back on, the oven temperature is under 150, so why is more cooling needed? It takes longer to preheat and longer to cool down than my previous oven. I could adjust my previous oven in 5 degree increments; this one is preprogrammed to 25 degree increments. If there is a way to directly enter the temperature rather than go through a menu of preprogrammed modes, I have not been able to find it. Also, the interior of this oven is over an inch narrower than my previous 24" oven, severely limiting what can be cooked in it. Since the wire shelves are not flat, the usable rack width is only 15". The shelves in my toaster oven are wider. While the documentation say the oven has wi-fi connectivity, the software is not currently working and there is no estimate of when it will be fixed. When (if?) the new software becomes available, I was told that a service call will be required to install the update. Customer service seems not to be a high priority. The department is only open 8-6 ET, M-F. When you get through to a customer service representative, they are very helpful. However, I spent 45 minutes on hold today, just trying to find out whether the additional trays shown in the owner's manual are available. They are, even though they cannot be located on the website unless you have the part numbers. This was the longest of several long hold times, some prior to purchase and some after. All in all, I expected better than what Whirlpool has delivered thus far.

I bought my double oven September 26th. The installer did a lousy job. I have an unsafe installation and Lowes seems to ignore me. A technician from your company told me how to fix it. When I relayed the information the arrogant man from Lowes said the technician didn™€™t know what he was talking about. The ovens need to be recalibrated and no one will touch them because they are unsafe. If I was Whirlpool I would reconsider my relationship with Lowes.

So far I like them and they work well. There are a few minor issues. They won't connect to my wifi network. They have some unexpected hot spots that I'll need to work around. I haven't tried all of the features yet, but I'm looking forward to testing out the four rack baking when I make cookies.

Double Oven - Internet Connection

Just like the previous review from Cowboy I too cannot connect my oven to the internet. I have tried several different ways and devices and nothing works. It says it is connecting to our home router but cannot connect to the internet. I am also disappointed in the fact that I cannot set different oven temperatures. At this time the oven only has temperature settings in 25 degree increments. Maybe that will change if I can get connected to the internet. It's a work around, and most of my baking is done at 325, 350, 375 and 400. But still . . .

This oven has not connected to the internet and Whirlpool since we got it. Tried twice to get set with customer service - but they were unable to accomplish it either. They referred it ti engineering - still no connection. Extremely poor screen interface on oven with randomly sensitive keypad. Won't buy Whirlpool products again! Emailed store we bought it for and recommended they not sell this product anymore because it will given them a bad reputation.
